Shizer! The Germans Have Bone To Pick With Fiddy!

by Perez Hilton on July 31st, 2009

wenn-fiddy6.jpg

50 Cent and his representation have pissed off a German promotional company and so, now ,their getting sued!

The German company, Major Movez claims that the William Morris Endeavor agency charged them $125,000 to negotiate a concert as a good faith gesture. If the concert were not to happen, the money would be returned to them free and clear.

There was no concert, nor was their money returned to them. So now they will go to court to hash it all out.

Let's hope it just doesn't turn into World War Fiddy!

Debbie Rowe Wanted Cashola And Gets It!

by Perez Hilton on July 31st, 2009

jacksonchildren1.jpg

As we mentioned earlier, Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe have reached a custody agreement over the fate of Michael Jackson's children. Katherine will have custody and Debbie will be allowed visitation.

But while we thought that it was drama free and all done in the children's best interest, it turns out there may have been a little more devil in the details.

Rowe has forgone custody of the children in exchange for spousal support payments which total $4 million overall.  According to Rowe (who was left out of Jackson's will), the King of Pop had an arrangement with her in which he paid her $1 million dollars a year.  Unfortunately for Rowe, this was a verbal agreement and so she had no physical proof of the agreement.

As a result, Jackson's brothers were incredibly reluctant to adhere to her demands that she continue to be paid and, apparently, Jackson's lawyers even said they had grounds to fight the claim. Ultimately, however, Jackson's mother, Katherine, made the executive decision to give Rowe her money just to put the whole mess to rest and avoid putting the kids through even more of a media circus.

One source said, "they just want to get rid of her.  They recognized early in this process that she had no interest in playing a real role in their lives and that it was all about money."

Katherine will remain the children's guardian, and Rowe, in turn, will receive a few hundred thousand dollars a year over a set period of time and be allowed supervised visits.

Apparently, as part of the agreement, the Jackson clan has to say that it wasn't a matter of money for Rowe, even though it was.

It sounds like even though the Jacksons will have to continue paying Rowe, the children ended up with the person who will really look out for them.

All's well that ends well…but Debbie Rowe still sucks.

Delightful! Kanye West Rumored to Be Designing a Line for Gap

by Amy Odell on July 31st, 2009

Us Weekly broke the news a few weeks ago that Kanye West was interning at the Gap, where he toiled away until midnight, soaking up knowledge and real-world fashion-industry experience like the good little nonsensical, bright-purple-sweater-wearing sponge he is. Then a wily public-relations person tore through the media, denying the reports, which was sad, because we had begun to imagine Kanye as a design tour de force for not just Louis Vuitton customers and sneaker freaks, but the Everyman and the Everyman's chinos. Finally, through Gap, we felt like we could relate to Kanye. But now, the story is back in the Chicago Tribune, which reports that Kanye is interning at Gap's headquarters in Manhattan, working side-by-side with his buddy creative director Patrick Robinson. Friends don't let friends intern for administrative assistants.

The Tribune also reports:

It has been speculated West is looking to launch a line of clothing for the Gap, but so far, those reports have not been confirmed.

Well someone at Gap had better start confirming things, because this is exactly what that brand needs to start making money again. A ridiculous, gimmicky line designed and fronted by a celebrity along with, ideally, his stunning lady love, Amber Rose. If her smile and personal style don't say "shop at Gap" we don't know what does.

Judd Apatow Will Keep It Coming!

by Perez Hilton on July 31st, 2009

juddapatow1.jpg

There is no question that Judd Apatow is hot right now, but now we can guarantee that he'll remain front and center for years to come.

The filmmaker has just signed a big bucks deal with Universal to write and direct three films!

Universal Pictures chairman David Linde says that "it was a true mutual enthusiasm to really cement a relationship.  Linde goes on to say that Apatow "has become a cornerstone for what this company prides itself on, which is excellence in comedies," and that he is "one of the most responsible filmmakers that this company works with.  He is always on budget, he is always on time."

Apatow has directed three films for Universal:  The 40-Year-Old-Virgin (2005), which grossed $177 million worldwide, Knocked Up (2007) which grossed a whopping $219 million worldwide, and the upcoming film Funny People, which expects a strong box office performance.  He also produced Forgetting Sarah Marshall and is currently in production on Get Him To The Greek, both for Universal.

With the new contract, Apatow may produce projects elsewhere, but those penned and directed by him will be done at Universal.  To date, he has produced six films for Columbia, including Year One, Pineapple Express, and Superbad.

Congrats, big guy!

What A Beautiful Shade Of Orange!

by Perez Hilton on July 31st, 2009

wenn53299522.jpg

Denise Richards was spotted looking tangerine-ish at the Give & Get Fete held at Frederic Fekkai in Beverly Hills earlier this week.

What a beautiful, natural, orange hue!

We can only begin to wonder if Crazy Eyes was using Lindsay Lohan's line of self tanners, Sevin Nyne.

And why are her legs so much darker than her face?

Did LOLhan apply it herself to Denise????

Gareth Pugh Is Coming to Milk’s Fashion Week

by Amy Odell on July 31st, 2009

The Fashion Week for cool people at Milk Studios is getting cooler by the week. Already, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, and ThreeAsFour are showing in the space instead of the Mercedes Benz tents or other off-site venues. Confessions of a Casting Director now reports that one of our favorite designers, Gareth Pugh, who shows in Paris, will show a video installation by Steven Klein at the space. Hooray! It's not as thrilling as a runway show, but Gareth will be here in the flesh, perhaps wearing his nipple clamp. We hope he attracts Beyoncé — or Solange, at the least. >> Andre Leon Talley Almost Didn't Make the Final Cut of The September Issue -Last night, The September Issue director RJ Cutler made an appearance at the SoHo Apple Store in New York, revealing that in the process of editing down the enormous amount of footage he had, Andre Leon Talley was actually entirely eliminated from a late-stage cut of the film.  He mentioned that after Anna Wintour saw a rough cut of the film, she had a long list of suggestions - perhaps one of them was getting ALT back, because as we know, he and his "famine of beauty" are definitely in the final cut. Chris Brown Never Learns!!!

by Perez Hilton on July 31st, 2009

brownriri1__opt.jpg

He is a torrential douche!!!!

Chris Brown let his anger get the best of him AGAIN at Lucky Strike Lanes in NYC on Monday.

After a few hours inside with friends, the woman beater was forcefully removed from the bowling alley.

"Lucky Strikes is pretty chill on Monday nights, but Chris was ready to party, and that's what he did," said an eyewitness. "He definitely looked like he was being forced to leave, like his friends knew it was in his best interest. He was acting kind of crazy, partying too much, and making moves on a really young-looking girl."

At least, no one was hurt!

We're sure he's really sorry!

Can't wait for the scripted apologetic video blog!

Posh to Grace the Cover Vogue?

by Amy Odell on July 31st, 2009

Victoria Beckham has been on the covers of British, Russian, and Indian Vogue, but has never been the cover girl for the American edition. Rumor has it Posh will appear on the October cover solo for the first time (she appeared on Vogue's cover with the Spice Girls about eleven years ago). She's reportedly doing it to promote her perfume line in the U.S. A Vogue spokesman recently told us that rumors about Vogue getting revamped were a "fabrication." At least they're not opposed to trying new things. Maybe David Beckham will take his shirt off and join her. [FWD]
