Please tell me this Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Bag pic is real!

So while digging the Internets for more information on LV’s upcoming launch of the Monogram Camouflage line, I happened to hit on Fashioniseme.com’s exclusive image of an upcoming “Speedy (?)” in the camouflage print that was provided by Karen Kooper.com.I’m not totally sure if that is the Speedy or not but it’s definitely got that “handbag-I-can-hold” look and feel. And the outfit and shoes – the ensemble is to-die-for – can we talk? LoL
I’m not into the “fru-fru” handbags that try to be like “Look at me and hate me” ‘cuz I just think that’s a desperate call for attention to yourself. That said, I like how this handbag takes fashion to a whole different level. It’s like “bling” without trying to make it say you’re wearing “bling”. And because it’s definitely got this whole “Street Chic” look to it, it’s aces in my book. All I need now is some Louis Vuitton Blason and I’m set!
All I want to know is how much am I going to have to save up to get it and will my government rebate check cover it? I’m crossing my fingers that this bag is as dirt cheap as the Neverfull although I think that that’s too much wishful thinking at this stage. It’ll probably be somewhere in the $1,600-$1900 USD pricerange. Call your local LV store to find out or ask the good folks at the Brooklyn Museum Louis Vuitton boutique.

I spoke with my SAs at one of the local LV boutiques here in the SF Bay Area. From what they knew at the time, I was told that there will be a Speedy 35 which will look similar to the limited edition Bordeaux Speedy which was available last Fall ‘07. The handles will be black patent leather and the “LV” lettering will be black with camo background. Price point for the Speedy will be around $1500-1600. There will also be a denim camouflage squarish tote bag. However, they had no further info than that. Other items they’d mentioned included possible travel bags in the camo and other accessories. Unfortunately, the details they were given were pretty hazy, but the Speedy info was pretty firm. Hope I heard right! I can’t wait…
