R.I.P. Sophie Winfrey

R.I.P. Sophie Winfrey

Oprah always had some small issues with Sophie, Oprah couldn’t leave the house without sophie to scream for her to come back.
13-year-old Sophie suffered from kidney failure. Sophie will no doubt be buried in a coffin that costs more that what we make in a month…COMBINED. She deserves it. I can tell she was a good soul just by looking at her tongue flopping out of her mouth like that.

Donatella Versace Loves Purple

by The Author on March 24th, 2008

donatella versace
Ms. Versace sticks to her guns even when discussing things that to most people are pretty mundane, like suitcases.

“I love matched luggage,” she said. Having grown disenchanted with shocking pink, she had the Versace leather workshop make a new set, hand-stitched with the Greek key pattern, in a more low-key, deep purple deerskin. “It gives a sense of security, of luxury, or being treated well,” she said. “So much time and work goes into making clothes. I want the clothes to be cared for.”

Purple, she noted, “is one of my favorite colors.”

Neil Patrick Harris Clarifies ‘Overheard’ Britney Spears Remarks

by The Author on March 19th, 2008

britney spears

NPH released a statement to Towleroad this afternoon in an effort to clear up any confusion about remarks he was heard to have made about the pop star:

Said Harris: “In response to the recent weekly rag item regarding Britney Spears appearing on our show, I want to offer a little clarification, and to avoid any further drama, I thought I should act quickly. First, I honestly respect the fact that she is re-establishing herself in the industry and we are proud that she was able to be part of our show. Secondly, I would never refer to her as a ‘nightmare’ as she was extremely professional, punctual and pleasant during her time on set. I did say that her life has been somewhat ‘nightmarish,’ but only in reference to being hounded by the media and paparazzi around the clock. If there was a negative, I suppose it was the scrutiny. Everyone was on guard, concerned for Britney’s well-being. We were conscious of camera phones, wary of strangers. Her world may be hectic, so we wanted her to feel comfortable in ours. Truly. No spin. She did her job, and did it well.”

Go Brit!
